Our First Press Release!

Good Morning!  I awoke to a bleary looking cold New England day and of course immediately went to my email to see what was new or pressing.  I had forgotten that our first press release was to go live today.  Sure enough, there was the confirmation email with a listing on some of the sites that were running it. How exciting!! 

Shutterbug Designs launched our on-line bag parties at the beginning of February in an effort to meet to the growing demand to expand our home shopping line.  We stated doing home parties in CT and RI this past spring.  When we started getting requests to do parties in other states we considered hiring representatives to do these but ultimately decided to go with the on-line party approach.

The process is really quite simple. The party host books a two week party time frame.  Party information created by Shutterbug Designs is distributed by the party host to their email list of guests.  Guests are provided with a code to submit at the time of their order. This code is used to identify the sales for the host and therefore determine the total host discount at the end of the party.  Unlike traditional home shopping parties where host gifts are determined by guests booking future parties, Shutterbug Designs hosts receive their free party gift regardless of whether future parties are booked.

CK and her daughter, both from Old Lyme CT are hosting our first official on-line party as I type this.  What did we ever do before the Internet?!?!
